A temporary exhibition built inside a former fish market on the Arno. The brief was to bring a single painting to life , Still Life with Flowers, a Dutch still life , by dissolving the boundary between artwork and space. The existing loggia was glazed and filled with living flowers, the painting's subjects planted at your feet as you walked through. A curved temporary pavilion marks the entrance. Curved labyrinthine walls carry the story of the work. Florence sits outside every window.
